Walter E. Dolph, 70, of 801 Voris St., died at 10:20 a.m. Monday in Culver Hospital. He retired in 1970 from American Vetrified Products Co. Mr. Dolph was a member of Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church and had attended Crawfordsville Schools. Born Sept. 5, 1904, at Crawfordsville, he was a son of William Preston and Lucy Ellen Sikes Dolph. He was married to Ocie Durham on Aug. 29, 1931. She survives. Surviving are five sons, George of Crawfordsville, Harold of Atlanta, Ga., Richard of Pekin, Ill., James of Indianapolis and Donald of Shelburn, and 14 grandchildren. A son is deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Dolph officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
